Yes, it was cheesy!! Fat Tuesday was nacho ordinary day!

It was a very exciting day here at Chesterton Academy on Tuesday! We celebrated our First Annual Cheesterton Day! As you can see from the pictures below, the day was filled with cheesy events and cheesy food! House games included Cheesy Poetry Slam, Cheesy Jeopardy, and Comedy Cheesy Pun Off to name a few. A note that was sent to the scholars before the games began......GOUDA LUCK to all the houses! Let the CHEESY GAMES BEGIN!

The poets have been mysteriously silent on the subject of cheese......This is a terrible injustice: our culture must answer for its lactose intolerance!

So.....your mission is to nominate a bard for your house to compose a poem about cheese. It might be in praise of cheese, or mourning its oversight, or lampooning it. So long as it sounds nice, and is about cheese, it will go a long way to mac up for this gross oversight. Pick someone who will do a gouda job, and make sure that they agree to it--the house with the best poem will be rewarded: who doesn't want to be the big cheddar? Congratulations to the House of Athanasius; you are the Big Cheese!

Yes, the whole day was cheesy......and a bit corny......but that's a discussion for another day!
